C.O.D.A. is taking the moment to proudly draw up the balance sheet of emergency transportations made since the beginning, in march 1987...

First thing first, it will be important to examine the statistics summary from the C.O.D.A.'s operations. Then, we will consider other important datas concerning the organs that were transported to the hospitals and medical centers we serve.

Finally, we will show you the financial value of all C.O.D.A.'s work and present you the fleet composed of eleven (11) "survival units" stating that C.O.D.A. is well established and here to stay...

To sum up, it is more than 21 years of emergency transportation contributing to the survival of hundreds of waiting transplant patients...

For more than 25 years, Canadian Organ Donors Association's mission is to promote organ donations throuhout Québec and elsewhere in Canada. As well as the public awareness campaigns, C.O.D.A. is being possible with the support of police volunteers from many regions of Québec and financial partners as :

     • Quebec -Transplant
     • Le Naturiste
     • Bell mobility

...our organisation was able to maintain a fleet of 11 emergency vehicules dedicated to the organ's transportation and medical support, unveil a cenotaph in 1994 to the memory of the organ donors, establish La Banque d'Yeux Nancy Desharnais in 1988 and an heliport at Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke on june 1990 and even, pay for some surgical equipments and research projets on organ transplant.

Everyone can make the difference and become an important partner of C.O.D.A. by simply signing the Donor's card or by anyother way like mentionning it on a will, telling your loveones about it or writing it on a letter. Your support is necessary to help C.O.D.A. continue its mission by passing on
